The voters have elected and re-elected Chris Dabis into office seven consecutive times. Her first campaign for office was in 1982 and since her 1998's election she has used a web site to disseminate her campaign information. Chris once stated,

"The Internet is the perfect media-type for government: Our customers want information around-the-clock. The Internet allows us to provide them the current information, constantly."

Chris will retire from her tour-of-duty in December of 2010. That will end 40 years of service to the good people of Nevada County, CA.

Tina Vernon, who is endorsed by Chris Dabis, will hopefully win the the voter's approval. Chris has pledged that she will be available to consult with Tina Vernon indefinitely.
