North San Juan, California is one of the rare gold towns. It didn't become a ghost town, and it didn't become a McMansion enclave either. In fact, it is legally blighted for all intents and purposes.
Within the last few years the town's attitude has changed, and the residents are working together on many issues: a water system, local employment based new businesses, and preservation projects. They simply cannot fail, that's not an option. We are fortunate to be helping them with their website, and in return, we are rewarded with pride and happiness over their triumphs.
